The agriculture program at Ivy Tech Community College engages students in hands-on activities in and outside of their classrooms while preparing them for real-world agriculture careers. Ivy Tech-Lafayette owns a 65 acre demonstration and research farm that provides crop production and research experience to students.
The Bane Agriculture Technology Center features learning facilities specific to agriculture and two computer labs. Ivy Tech offers a two-year associate of science transfer degree, a two-year associate of applied science degree, and a one-year technical certificate. The Pathway to Purdue Agriculture program is a partnership between Purdue University and Ivy Tech that allows Ivy Tech students to co-enroll at Purdue to prepare for a bachelor of science degree in Purdue’s College of Agriculture while earning an associate of science degree from Ivy Tech.
