Applied Research Projects

Applied Research is broadly defined as experiential, hands-on learning to further engage students outside the classroom and on the College Farm. The purpose of C2A3’s agriculture applied research projects are to encourage and provide financial support for faculty and instructional staff to develop and pilot innovative projects that will bring applied research experiences to the agriculture classroom and laboratory experience at member colleges.

Some of our projects are done jointly while others are done independently at each member institution. In all cases, faculty and students share results and real-world learning with one another virtually and at a professional development conference held annually.
