Project Overview
The Soil to Crop Project (S2C) aims to increase student and farmer knowledge of how implementing sustainable agricultural practices increases yields and profitability. Students will participate in hands-on training at the College farm on soil sampling, analysis, and interpretation and explore innovative soil management practices that connect to soil health. Students and faculty will examine the principles of farm crop production and management. They will document crop growth via drone captures and host a field day to collect data and harvest crops along with business partners from CaseIH and Service Motors Corporation.
